Approach:
I use a variety of evidence-based modalities in order to support the specific needs of each individual. These modalities include: CBT, DBT, CPP, EMDR, IFS, psychodynamic therapy, and aspects of psychoanalysis. Additionally, my work is grounded in principles of cultural humility and trauma-informed care.
Who I help:
I help teens 15+ and adults create healthy relationships to foster their individual mental health. I also have a passion for supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals seeking support for a variety of issues across family and other community systems impacting their lives.
How I help:
From a place of non-judgment and curiosity, we will work together to co-create a narrative that helps guide you through the challenges you are facing. Cultural humility guides my work. I have an appreciation for the complex ways identity, privilege, and cultural systems impact the way that we move through the world and the expectations we place on ourselves and others.
What my clients say about working with me:
My clients describe me as patient, thoughtful, and compassionate. When working together, some have described gaining a greater capacity to be gentle with themselves and explore challenging feelings without judgment.
Off the clock:
I enjoy indie films, yoga, cooking, and vintage shopping. When I have extra time I love to sew, attend performance art & theater, and support local community advocacy groups.
